I didn’t get anything the first week of January so I’m holding off on applying until the first week of Feb. Ideally I want to time it so I can resign the day the bonuses hit. I wonder if companies know this so are holding back on job listings until then.

Whatever you do, do not sign a right to represent agreement with the Indian recruiters. They will just throw your résumé away and hire their cousins and brothers and sisters. How many of you have signed this type of agreement with an Indian recruiter and never hear from the recruiter again?

The job market feels extremely difficult right now. H1b body shopping consultants and H4 EAD holders need to go back. All they do is hire their friends and cousins which is clogging up the job market.

dude....you're not that special that companies will fall over themselves to hire you. The job market is sh-t. Average time to get another offer is 6-8 months. So, get cracking. You certainly ain't the best thing since sliced bread so keep your head down, spend time dedicatedly everyday to apply, do what you need to keep the paycheck coming in the meanwhile and keep applying
