I received a warning because the only place to park at 10 AM is designated as a fire lane. It's well over 100 ft from any structure. There were 9 other vehicles parked in the same area but only 2 of us were tagged. Too many people assigned here. How difficult is it only assign as many people as there are parking and workspaces available?

@ar
That's bullsh-t. You should have been fired long ago.
People who back their vehicles into the parking slot and block the sidewalk. Saw a guy 2 weeks ago with a prosthetic lower leg trip and fall when trying to walk past on the available 6" inches of sidewalk.
@OP your best bet is to contact whatever local township/municipal fire official department is relevant to your worksite. Since they have already ticketed people, you know that they care about keeping access safe. (not referring to the company).
Beyond that… You could possibly contact the county government and make them aware, as well as loop in any local news stations that are hungry for a story.
Look up recent articles about AT&T and the RTO, and get the journalist contact info, see if they are interested in publishing something about it as well.
You could ride a bicycle 10 miles to get to work in the morning. Leave early and bring water or gatoraide.
I can't find parking 3-4 times each month. I take multiple pictures of the parking areas using my COU and then return home. My 8 hour clock starts when I leave the parking lot. The wasted 40 minute commute is company time. Been doing this for almost 2 years and I've never been challenged.
@ab this. I start my day at 5am and leave by 1PM everyday. It’s like I always have a half day. RTO has been great for weekday afternoon golf and tennis. Make the report look pretty and go about my day.
Get to work earlier.
@a3 save the planet? This company has put 100,000 more cars on the road 5 days a week driving hundreds of miles for absolutely no reason. Where are the CSR geeks?
Sadly, T doesn’t care about that.
It’s left for employees to figure.
Same situation with not every employee having a dedicated “desk” to work from in the office and not play musical seats everyday.
A couch or the break room doesn’t count.
Plano? There’s not enough parking the start of the year.
Carpool or ride the bus … or a bike ! Save the planet ! 🌏
What can you do differently to solve the problem?
Life is pretty good if that’s all you have to complain about … sheesh
