why does it seem like Finance roles are hardly impacted by offshoring, layoffs, pay freezes, AI replacements, etc.
But others are? Finance and Senior Leadership seem to be exempt?

Finance roles never offshored?!?! Do you know how many Finance positions were moved to India and Costa Rica during Change Program? Those in Finance remaining in "on-shore" painfully locations lost so many valued colleagues.
Because finance is doing the heavy lifting when it comes to crunching numbers on layoffs, offshoring, and budget cutting.
