Target really doesn’t owe us anything. At the end of the day we work for Target and they allow us to. It’s a blessing to have a job. There is so much entitlement and it’s wild. If you don’t like how target is running their business don’t work for them. Target has literally nothing to do with what is going on right now. They don’t have to make a public statement if they don’t want to. I would hope they would have reached out to those TMs and their families but that’s their own business. We don’t have to be involved in every situation.

I feel sorry for no one who complains about going into the office 2 days a week. That is laziness in its purest form. Wish you luck with your job hunt!
I know a place! Dah duh dah dah dah, you'll be loving it!
100% agree with OP. Just the fact you see people calling names shows me their maturity level loud and clear. Time for the kids to grow up, entitled to learn life isn’t always fair, and those so miserable they want everyone else to be as well to just look for employment elsewhere. The fatigue of it all is overwhelming. Down vote, call names, pout all you want. I don’t care.
Don’t feed the troll, though ‘bot’ is more accurate. AI generated text for sure - short, lifeless sentences, oddly polished, and rather shallow.
Woah. Only the comments opposing the post are showing now.. why is that?
Shut up boot li---r.
Can't quite tell if this is supposed to be satire, trolling, or the poster is serious.
I'm going to take it as satire, and laugh. The post sounds like something a serf would post about a gentrified land-owner.
Thank you for my job, Duke of Earl Target!
It’s entitled to want to keep yourself and your fellow team members safe. Yeah, sure.
OP, you need to take a moment to take an inventory of your soul. Stop being such a bootlicker.
@OP kys please
@OP have you tried looking for a job in the current market? I’ve been on the hunt for 2 years. It’s not promising out there despite what credentials and experience you have. Trust me, the people that want to get out, want to get out.
If we want to look at this strictly from a business perspective, employees aren’t going to be performing well under stress and duress. Target employs plenty of people across the board who are being targeted. I get not wanting a company to pander when they have tripped and fallen over themselves plenty of times, but c’mon man, read the room. People are suffering and we are asked to deliver amazing results in all avenues without any regards to what strains and hardships may be affecting it.
I think it’s a good thing (patriotic even) to ask more of the people that lead. Sure, it’s a private company, they don’t have to action on any grievances, but my point still stands.
