Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Eliza Robots

Nice to know BNY finds it necessary to spend $200,000 on two stupid robots that look at if they came from a vintage 1980s Sharper Image catalog.

Two hundred grand and for what? To tell jokes? But let’s lay off staff.

Robin Vince is a useless tosspot.

@ac absolutely. My location is one the closed and yet they own it still, have it sitting empty for two years and are taking it out on us every angle you can think right down to layoffs and not allowing promotions of people who deserve them . Yet bring in outsiders with no experience or knowledge and pay way more than current staff

So we layoff good/great workers bc they're permanently wfh and been that way before COVID. But bc BNY closed offices near wfh folks now it's the staffs fault they can't drive 8 hours to the next office. We also don't properly train staff so sh*t stay fn up. Literally have to train yourself if there are good desk procedures and you get enough access within 6 months to do stuff. I got a get out of here...

They have to give the image of being amazing with AI in the financial worldZ even using dinosaur systems and resources still. Pathetic! Besides they can afford it. People are about to find out that not only were ratings forced down but no merit is being given to those who didnt get meets and above. RV is about to show a big a-s 1st quarter savings/increase in revenue and yet everyone stays blinded to what hes doing to show that
