There are so many H1b employees in Nike already and this is still continuing.
When Americans are losing jobs and so many qualified engineers are looking for work we continue hiring fresh h1b graduates.

@bn gotta fire them, tpm is a joke in nike...I thought about this one time to time and I think am entitled and I can add more to it since i've been associated for a pretty long time with these shenanigans...I thought they have cleaned tpm vertical in the last round of june firing - I came to know that it is only In one org predominantly - rest of the orgs - they were shielded by D's and SD's who are in turn shielded by vps of iykyk, they should be fired based on the excel sheet numbers and the amount of value they are putting on the table but rather than that they were sailing since every major blood bath...I think I have seen a pattern here, orgs with bulk amount of contractors, pms & tpms under vps of iykyk gonna survive no matter what
Gotta keep growing them DEI numbers to show how inclusive Nike is.

@OP please send it for audit. There are people on H1B who are working from india as well which is illegal. Recently most of the Visa interviews are cancelled / rescheduled and they are stuck in india and working from india.
there is principal tech product manager earning 200k in NRT team on h1b all hey do is slack on the status of the sinks. This orgnization is disgrace. there is a lot of trash to be cleaned-up honestly.
@ac really? I think they are paid ok and treated pretty well, likely a lot better than some other employers
and the fraud in the local markets is unacceptable, whether comparing to another country or not, just not ok
@a7 if you are still at the company you can gather evidence (carefully and if it's there) and whistle blow it to the audit committee

wow that walmart scandal is really something, thanks for posting, and the ceo's of these companies should remove staffing companies completely and hire local, non H1B's only, at least until they can't find non h1b's..then they open that door, but still, no staffing companies, what a complete rip off
not to mention consulting companies like TS charge almost double what the actual contractor makes, and they don't provide: 401k, vacation days, or health care coverage, so where does that extra ~50/hr go? Right into the coffers of large recruiting company for simply making a couple phone calls, scandalous!
