Thread regarding Wayfair Inc. layoffs

I am truly sorry for anyone that lost their job yesterday, that really su-ks! But all of us that are still here it should be a wake up call, we are all replaceable and cannot depend on this company. With the metrics changes and daily changes and do it this way today and this way tomorrow, we’re all at risk. These off shore teams are making this job harder for the people that know what to do. But it’s cheap labor so who cares they are not giving out correct information. In the end they will have our jobs and there’s nothing we can do about it

Not only is it Offshore Agents making it difficult for customers, AND us to do our jobs well (that we're good at), but the whole IT, WFM departments have completed gone downhill. Ever since laying off IT, no one can help fix comp issues & they're constantly making mistakes that work against us, giving invalid attendance pts, incorrectly taking PTO time for comp IT issues when they shouldn't be, tkts are done incorrectly effecting ur adherence. Its a whole other full time job double chk'g their work/our tkts. It's been awful. Managers barely help. No one can give a straight answer & we're gas lit 24/7.
Blessing in disguise to have been layed off.

Every single one of us needs to complain to management until they get sick to death of hearing us complain. Our jobs are all on the line and management is causing this.

Very true. They are just transferring customers around. I reported several times lying to customers. I did my job well and believed the hype that wayfair cared. Let this be your warning
