Yes, can happen any day now. Used to be only on tues after payday but not anymore

Layoff team is asked to work in Agile with daily stand up after lay off is done. They are the only one going to be busy in 2026 and rest of the bank activities will be supported by AI agents replacing every human possible. This is as per some senior senior senior team member

Apparently the answer is yes as a friend of mine that worked there for 10 years just got laid off today.

yes, but seem to be more one off. anything larger usually happens on Tuesdays following a payday.
