Workplace Excellence weeks have been removed from the calendar for 2026. That means you have to be in office 3 days a week even during holiday weeks.

It is still 4 out of 6, there’s just no exclusion weeks anymore. Because it’s 4 out of 6, some weeks count in two reporting periods.
If you put your vacation in workday those weeks are not held against you as long as you have at least 3 vacation days.
@1dv, but the requirement of being in the office 4 out of 6 weeks is still there, or has it changed to be there every week now?
@1aq During my annual review, I was told that there is no more exclusion weeks effective immediately. Not a rumor anymore for me.
Manager mentioned this during team call today. No more exclusion weeks, all weeks count.
I am hearing this is not true and that it hasn’t been updated since 2024.
What is Workplace Excellence Week and its relationship to work location? Not familiar with this.
@15g It's 20 miles from your designated WFH address, so you just can't be > 20m from whatever that designation is. Have a second home, vacation spot, or visiting family will be a no no.
Just another small spoonful of control. In small doses you don't notice.
@f8 it’s gonna be a pain for associates in the Jacksonville Florida area on the days that they are allowed to work from home because Jacksonville is the most spread out city in the US and my house is 32 miles from the office.. so whoever came up with that little 20 mile stipulation isn’t using their brain.
@vt you sound so jealous.
As a non-manager, I do not have access to the dashboard and did not know about this change. I wonder when our manager will tell us? Spoiler: never, he will never tell us.
@vt That is insulting... For us women, we need extra time to prepare to go to work. Working from home saves us some time if we do not have to go out. For the men who are self-conscience of their appearance, then maybe they need more time before they go out. The work still gets completed regardless if I am working from home or in the office. And most of my peers feel the same way. Only people who require everybody to be in the office 5 days a week have a power struggle. Maybe it is you with your big baggy pants who is insecure on your identity who needs employees to be present to make you feel good. Or you are lonely and you need a co-worker to hug. Good Grief!!!
That's always been our rule.
You goofy bank employees are so used to be coddled it’s crazy. Complaining about 3 days in 2 days out, when I’m only getting 4 days. Put your big boy pants on.
@eg When is the current 6 week period? Did it start on the week of the 5th?
Former BofA employee that came to Truist for a remote position and now in five days a week. Take what you can.
@gn I use an authenticator application on my personal device for two-factor authentication. I prefer not to carry fu--ing d-mb corporate mobile device, as I find it unnecessary. Additionally, I keep precise location services disabled at all times and only permit approximate location sharing when specifically required
@f8 not personal phone. Your bank mobile can be used with Authenticator.
Oh okay, that makes sense. A few years ago, they sent out a reminder about not taking your laptop out of state or traveling with it because associates with my area were doing that, and getting caught so I can see them making that a requirement now.
@f4 You can find it on flagscape. You will need your personal phone with location turned on to sign in remotely. That location must be within 20 miles of your designated WFH location or you will need an override from your mgr each time (with a reason for being away). The faq says that reason would be traveling for work.
What are they changing about location requirements
The MLK week in January and Presidents Day in February were always counted for WPE but it was nice skipping the major holiday weeks like Thanksgiving.
You could still skip holiday week using the 4/6 rule correct? In 4 weeks in office of the 6 week reporting cycle to remain in the green?
Location Proximity looks to be a fun change coming soon. We can add that to the list of Excellence.
@cd what are the additional changes
As a manager, I can confirm. Additional changes coming as well. They are tightening the sc--ws to make people miserable enough to quit.
Believe it when I see it, not on some d-mb website that continues to think we’re going to fire 25% of the workforce on the 6th of every month…..
I have heard the same. D-mb
