Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Does Chevron still test for THC in Houston for office roles?

Anyone been randomly tested recently? Wondering if the recent schedule change for thc will impact testing.

@bc, alcohol is legal also, so by that logic does that mean they "legally can't even ask you about it" and you can drink "all you want now"?

Go look at health and medical updated policies. Go get a Texas medical mari--ana card through compassionate use program. Super easy to get a script. You then submit it to health and medical email and they'll approve it and you can smoke pot. Now I'm exempt from the testing.

Meanwhile all of you are on Xanax and Lexapro ki-ling yourselves. Go smoke some pot with this loop hole and enjoy the Chevron misery with a calmer head.

Remember if you’re going to do it and you get tested, be sure to tell them that you’re addicted to it if found out. Dr-g addiction is covered under disability so they have to send you to rehab and keep your job open for when you come back. Another positive dr-g test gets you fired.

@e3
I know people get tested, but I have not been tested in over 6+ years. Maybe I am in the demographic that does not fit the "random testing" profile.

@ab
You are out of touch, very few people smoke pot anymore, now they eat gummies.

If you’re in a safety sensitive position, the overall state law and even specific federal classification doesn’t matter. It’s more a liability issue. But go ahead, test the system and find out.

@OP give it a try! Maybe you’ll get fired and save the job of someone else with demonstrated intelligence.

They stopped random dr-g testing in most Fortune 500 companies during after Covid. Only new hires seem to get dr-g tested as far as I know as the norm
