Praying I'm among those affected. Yes, I know the job market su-ks, but I've been here long enough to get a decent severance that'll have me covered for a while. And if I can't find a new job within a year no matter the job market, then I guess I deserve to be jobless and broke.

disqualifies you from Unemployment.
That's a state by state thing.
Do you still receive your bonus if you voluntarily resign before it is paid?
dont count on severance, after huge taxes it is not as much as you think and the way ATT reports it is disqualifies you from Unemployment. The Job market is really tough right now, so be careful what you wish for. I did not want to leave but was severed due to RTO and have been applying and interviewing for 2+ months and nothing yet!
Right there with you. Would be great to have the severance bonus while I go my own way.
I hope it’s me. I’ve accepted a new job that starts 2/1. Going to see how long I can do both. They wouldn’t give me notice, so why bother giving them any.
