Joined BNY as a senior associate full stack developer in the collateral area in February. My recruiter told me bonuses at that level are around 10%. My VP coworker said she gets 10%.
I've seen some posts saying because I got 10 RSUs in November/December that I won't get a cash bonus. Is that true?
You should quit asap. WORSE COMPANY TO WORK FOR.

Check to see if your exempt or non-exempt.. if you are considered 'non-exempt', then you probably are not bonus eligible.. the RSU shares early in your career may be a sign of that, but not definitive. Have them check the HR portal.
Irrespective of what you were told, what does your employment agreement (or similar) say?

Might be the max but not what they give. Lucky to get 2%. Lucky if it’s close to our 1.5-2% raises.
We need to be careful to secure our future, so payoffs may be lower this year. Except for RV I mean…….

I was lied to when they got me into the dump and when I posted out to another department at a higher level, the recruiter for that position also lied to me about the potential bonus
In both situations, I asked my boss about the bonus percentage when they told me what it would be for the year and told them what the recruiter told me and in both cases, my manager said that that’s not even possible for this position

@OP 100% lied recruiter needs his commission, RV lies needs to keep his. Most of the rest of us working here are su-kers and losers
Bonuses aren't communicated until mid-January. Getting the 10 shares as part of BK Shares does not make you ineligible for a cash bonus.
Probably lied to get you in.
