Why not just bring in those consultants they adore and pay them a fortune to do it? Oh, right, they have no clue about the actual work. So instead, they squeeze even more out of us on the cheap whenever they can, and humiliate us on the side.

@2e9 I just finished on12/31. I agree, not their fault. I am glad to be away from the toxicity of BP.
I already did that.. it was hard on some days and other days not. They were very nice and it was not their fault. They just answered an Ad for a job... I'm sorry, its not easy. Its more offensive just having US jobs offshored while big oil keeps getting US tax credits and breaks.
Train them nonsense. Laugh if they cause damage
I sympatize. I've been there. Believe me it's no less demeaning to have to train your replacement who was in country. Good luck.
My advice is do it - you get the severance and you won! Who cares. Besides there isn’t a range of how thorough your MoC has to be.
You have to be real dull to sc--w up not getting your severance (like emailing documents to your personal accounts)

@x7 if you don’t do it, you don’t get severance. Simple as that
Don't do it. Simple as.
@kw what about bangalore?
Pune was officially not intended to result in redundancies. Say that you wouldn't be helping them if you wasted their time developing redundant skills.
Most people are putting up with the torture to receive hefty severance payouts.
Why are you putting up with the humiliation? Have you no self-respect? No dignity? Leave. Now. You haven't a moment to lose.
at least you'll get a nice trip to India out of it.
Girl if that’s how you feel, just leave. No one is forcing you to stay and work. It’s not like it’s hard to find replacements. Your false sense of persecution is laughable.
I just wouldn't do it. find another job and leave early.
