I wish all of us the opportunity to leave Dell and find better roles in better environments. Staying on a sinking ship only wears us down. Here’s to finding workplaces that value and support us.

@sv If they ask you, that means you’ve been seen by a person. Not an AI tool that isn’t flexible.
So, dropping graduations dates and listing only a few pertinent jobs that you’ve held for more than a year is a viable strategy.
I see people on linked purposely take off their graduation years for studies. They also just show the last series of jobs they deem applicable. You can't hide. They will ask you.
HR will 100% vet you and know your age before any interview process starts....Don't kid yourself, its their job and they do this stuff everyday.
Resume / CV tip
Start with your accomplishments, skills and education/training.
List employment history last.
Do not put graduation dates or employment history more the fifteen years. It prevents inadvertent age discrimination by HR bots. Don’t bother with outside interests that have nothing to do with the job unless it shows initiative or leadership, like creation and management of a good sized event or organization.
For instance, before my most recent hire I left of my work on bringing code up to Y2K standards.
Best of luck
next year will be much better than this year for job seekers.
