We are supposed to be so driven by the mission (improve the health and vitality of those we serve, by a commitment to innovation, integration, and providing accessible, affordable healthcare solutions) that compensation is merely an afterthought 😆

From a band 3/4 perspective, most people are 20%-30% underpaid which may be partially due Cigna offices being outside urban hubs. Promotions are infrequent and when they do happen come with only a modest bump in salary.
Offset is that a higher paying job comes with less longevity of role, requirement to be in the office more, a lower work/life balance, and a harder and more expensive compute into/live in a large city.

It is only going to get worse as they continue to ship jobs over to India. They can get two or three developers for the price of one in the U.S. I’m hoping they eventually replace all the leaders with Indians too. Already happening
