Of all the criticisms that can be leveled at WF, having a risky book of commercial loans isn't on of them. In fact, its probably one of the few things WF consistently does well.
For example, the author makes that blanket statement "loans to financial institutions are risky".....well, that depends. Are you lending to Ally or Cat Finance?
Or are you lending to Joes "buy here pay here" sled lot?
