Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to Chevron layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?

Quiet layoffs by making this company a he-l hole
@hj most of the IT roles left are high PSGs who would be the ones making that decision and they’ll never send their own jobs overseas. The few 24 and below roles may be sent to Argentina or Manila or ENGINE but there aren’t many left.
People not in IT don’t realize that it’s been offshoring for decades now just like finance and HR. Most of the remaining opportunities to move to ENGINE aren’t in corporate functions anymore and people will be surprised to see more being shipped offshore in PE, FE, RM, etc.
@es 2028 to 2030 will be great!
Yes as ENGINE ramps all of IT will be cut and sent to Bengaluru. Company-wide the next one will be in 2027 and will be a big one. Yay!
It is sad to witness and reflective of our current society all these guys on their knees su-king so they can stay at home and play games.
Attendance thing is BS. Several have got exemption already. You just have to $u-k your manager or be a puppy
There will always be layoffs. 2026 will be about putting employees on PIP for attendance issues for not showing up for working in office 4 days a week. This will reduce severance in the next round of layoffs. Next major one will be between 2028-2030.
