@3z5 I use copilot daily and I can tell you it is worse than worthless. It regularly hallucinate data within excel sheets and documents. Just the other day I had it review a PNC contract and it made up a clause that did not exist. It also can't make a piviot table despite that being a sample request in excel.
Maybe AI will be able to do more in a few years, but the idea that it will grow at the same rate forever is the same foolish thinking that investors had in 2018 about self driving cars replacing truckers. It never happened. The first 90% of AI is easy, the last 10% is near impossible.

Q1 layoffs are still coming once the dust settles from this actually. Her from an executive. She said the RTO was coming Wednesday and was right and later more layoffs. They think CoPilot can replace any talent that leaves and they will weed out others to cut expenses. I've been here 12 years and feel like I was tricked into thinking this company cared about its employees. True colors are now showing

@OP in my opinion they’re hoping that a large amount of people leave once the announcement is made to a mandatory return to work five day week so they don’t have to layoff and pay severance.

No. All eyes are on RTO. I imagine if enough quit layoffs will be less serious.
