I’ve seen people in the company for 15+ years who are only VPs and I’ve seen someone hired as VP who sat on the sideline for 6 months. That told me a lot about the company. Titles are meaningless, unless you’re a brokester with an ego and a little pp. They are so easy to identify. That’s why I laughed at them in my head, and sometimes to their face. It’s so funny when people think they are above you when they don’t really know your background.
At the VP level, the target bonus is under 10%. And remember we need to hold some back for newly promoted VPs. And of course we have a bunch of messed up legacy incentive payments, we just don’t go from 5% to10% without someone else losing out.
Which is not how it works t the exco level of course.
@n9 yes 15 to 20% is the avg for developers at all levels
What about developers? What’s the bonus like? SA, VP, SVP? Hoping for 10-15%.
VP DLR services received $18,650 bonus for 2024.
When i worked for business management/finance. It was around 10%, but that was a while back. Ops is prob less..product more..depends where you are.
Depends what you do. VP in Ops? Probably like $5k or less. VP in client coverage or trading or something where you’re taking investment risk or bringing in business would get a ton more. We don’t just give all VPs the same bonus. Some probably don’t get one at all depending on what they do for a living.
@e4
It would be a wonderful day if you used potassium cyanide rather than Chapstick.
@e4 go fk yourself,the kind of ridiculous comment you make staying anonymous scks,even if you had a tinge of empathy,you wouldn’t be making such a statement..it shows what a pathetic loser you are!
The people in these threads are so ridiculous I’m sorry. What kind of jobs do you guys have? Seriously. My bonus is 25 grand every year in product. I’m assuming the people getting nothing have pointless jobs.
Like previous years, earnings are up, stock is up, and executive bonuses are up. The so called “trickle-down” sharing of the profits at the levels below MD won’t be much different from previous years. Sorry guys, it’s true.
@bc
And the Government got half of it.
I got 25k last year
Got a nice bonus last year but the way things are going I'm not expecting anything but a bs convo on company shares being a benefit
Its coming via pink slip dip sh-t
@OP honestly in past it varied wildly depending on what department, role in department, the year, nepotism ‘so called performance’’ etc. I no longer work there but from what I am hearing from people who are still there that I know, bonus the least of concern. The better question is will you still have a job let alone receive a bonus. If new out of college or somehow tied to the Goldman soft takeover I would think will be treated fairly well. For anyone else, doesn’t look great.
Around 10%
Wait What?! We do get bonus??
One million doll hairs
Go ask Eliza you fool
Your ability to keep your job.
Bonus. Dream on sunshine.
You will get free coffee and free use of the bathroom
I agreed to pay BNY $2000 as a bonus.
Will you shut up with the stupid bonus stuff?
Your dope of a manager will tell you.
