who are hand-picked closely held "friends" who have been asleep at the helm for at least 10 years and enjoy their unearned puffed-up "Director Compensation".

What annual bonus, they gutted that a long time ago in my LOB.
The only people who get promotions and raises are the brown nosers. I’ve seen promotions given to people who have demonstrated a complete lack of understanding of the subject they’re supposed to be good at. It’s remarkable how bad it is around here!!
Not surprised. The only people I see getting promotions and raises are the upper echelons, the rest of us were told by the top management “if you don’t like it you can leave”. Also “you own your career”, all while quietly manipulating and gas lighting people. We were told if we did “extra” we would be considered for a raise. Nope, pretty much our jobs are being offshored.
The level of contempt the top of the house has for 99% of employees is disgusting.
Meanwhile the CEO will give himself a huge bonus.
I couldn’t care less, gave up on wanting to contribute anything beyond the written word of the job description years ago. F’it if this place crashes and burns. Not worth my time and expertise to argue the point anymore. Just make your sales quota. Its growth only….responsible left the chat long ago for this bank. Just a matter of time before the skeletons start coming out of the closet yet again for Bank of America. Hopefully this time they’ll let it burn and break it up. It took the better part of two decades for the stock price to rebound from the recession. Liquidate now while you can…
