You are right. How the F does schoonover have a job? Like I have been around technical sales for a few decades and I've never, EVER, seen anyone do less with their job and still get paid (even promoted!), lol.

If you’ve worked in the Durham office you’ll quickly attest that SB is about as bright as a burned out lightbulb. Might be one of the biggest re-re!s I’ve ever worked with.

Then comes SS. lol. If ever I’ve seen an employee milk money from a company then this is it. Random trips to customer locations for absolutely no reason. Zero talent since day 1.

Don't be ridiculous. Who is attracted to management, personality and ability-wise? Who do the other managers hire to be amongst them? Is it someone better than them, someone the same who will neither ask a lot or expect a lot, or someone worse, who will make them look good?

As the practical result of filtering, you're left with insecure people who failed out of their main skill and have faked-it-till-they-maked-it. You see it in the false pride. Some have been placed in that position because they are trusted to back their benefactor. Imposter syndrome means you're an imposter. Lack of experience, lack of judgement, lack of expertise = safe choices and poor decisions..
