I'm a level 2. have been asked the same, and honestly have to respond the same way.
My folks are excellent workers. They go above and beyond. They learn new things and reach out for new work. It's truly painful to tell them I have no freakin' idea how they can better themselves in the company.
The place is broken.
Agreed, My Manager said they wanted to discuss career growth. I asked are there any promotions or progressions in this regard?, Response was not above Level 2. I asked then what is there to discuss? My Manager was d-mbfounded and did not know how to respond.
They hate careers. They want you to change jobs every 4 to 5 years.
