It feels like every other week, someone else is announcing their early retirement. While I understand the desire to move on from Honeywell, the timing and number of people leaving has me puzzled. The typical workplace frustrations don't seem to fully explain this sudden exodus. I wonder if there's a common, unspoken reason that's prompting so many to make this decision right now.

Don’t forget they can will and have changed pension terms on a whim. Even removing benefits for past retirees.

Here’s what I think is gonna happen. I’ll start selling off parts of the business. If a merger is in the cards, the new company won’t keep you in yet at your location.
Not a very good day for people. It will be gutted. If we don’t survive, they’ll have to file for bankruptcy. So if they get to stock up, accompany, it might not be a healthy condition to stick around.
They’ll get their stock money. We will be showing the door. Look on the bright side. The game will finally be over.
When you notice upper level management running for the door…. It’s time to polish the resume, buy a new suit and start interviewing. Good luck.

honeywell stock is flat over the last 5 years
inflation index is up 25% since 2020.
flat stock price means real value is down 25% ...
nothing on horizon to change that story.

How does it puzzle you? The cost base has to adjust to revenue base upon split.
