On the title changes: in most European countries this is illegal to do unilaterally, as the title is considered an integral part of employment contract. Is any one interested in pursuing joint legal action?
We are a tech company not an analogue company. We need to attract the best tech people and pay them non-technical wages.
Already felt that from the first move to a matrix organisation. Great, knowledgable colleagues were laid off and lots of VP roles were created. Nobody really new what they did apart from attend meetings with each other. But this has gone on so long now that there is not much left here other than frustrated employees. Well about time! At least OA had the guts to do with none of the other CEOs did. Called out the over inflated roles and titles in this company. I’m glad finally all these deluded VP’s losing their minds over their inflated egos being called out. They have jobs the size of peanuts and think a VP title makes them important!! Honestly, most of them need to be brought back down to reality. All the VPs are justt team managers or supervisors at best.
