Do you think Oracle will spin off business units to raise cash?

Nothing really to spin-off when ORCL consistently runs them into the ground and they're no longer worth anything.

@b5 sure thing but now that the BUs are not keeping the structure anymore and people are just being merged or fired not sure how they could do that ..
@ae I’m sure there are plenty of private equity firms who would love to buy Oracle business units
@ae there are many ways to let things die without having a buyer: Merge, layoffs, not enhancing products …
You do realise spinning off needs a buyer?
@a3 dont you see it is happening ? Orgs being merged , dup managers laid off …
@OP that is already happening , BU are being merged with Fusion and other orgs …management stucture being flaterred…and this is only the begining..
