For the last 6 months, I've seen so many people getting fired and all very senior management too. Like just boss is not fired. 3 people above them got fired. And the whole team is now getting renamed and all that. The new people even don't know the product and capabilities.
Some people were really great leaders and they were like in BNY for 18 years and so.
I don't think they're firing people in lower level but feeling nervous.

BNY's senior roles are Director and above. BNY is similar to the most common 'SVP' role in other financial services companies with standard titles.
SVP is a mid senior and is often an IC role. This role was previously called Principle which is not a role many firms have, a gap role between VP and SVP.
SVP is at BNY is pretty junior, relatively speaking. Just saying..

Its more than VP and senior mgrs getting axed. They are doing it to everyone over anything they can find. Its an excuse to not pay severance and its RV trying to give the appearance they have increased revenue. All they have done was save but cutting American heads and moving everything to india. Its a sham and a disgrace for this place. The govt needs to stop sc--wing around and shut down our jobs going elsewhere where and bny needs to get RV and the others out of their positions asap
I'm a VP who has no desire for SVP. No one is safe these days though.
