Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

TDC Townhall

We just had a TDC Townhall and everyone was saying kudos to everyone. While recognition is good, we also received word from our TDC leaders that there is a 20% cap on the number of TDC associates who can receive a rating of for 2025. If things were so great, why impose a cap? This is so frustrating.

If you receive a stellar review for the year, the target is a 1.5% raise. Goes down from there. Not sure why anyone is motivated to do anything after knowing this.

Ratings always follow a bell curve. Even if you are a super performer, if your msnacannot represent your accomplishments to be far and away better than others in the running for that rating, youll get bumped down if there are too many people in that pool

@OP no disrespect- but no one cares about the proportions of people who get high ratings- many on here are very concerned about having a job in 2026 . And - it has always been that way statistically in ratings - you must be new . TDC is part of R and D and there should be a 20% reduction in people there , it is full of poor performing / high paid people and extremely “ top heavy” .
