Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Anyone get a review yet? Comp changes?

Curious if anyone got their performance review yet and if you noticed any differences this year? Also hearing they are changing our comp.

Way to change the rules and reward at the end of the game

@a5 love the record gains this year and the employees being an after thought. Definitely some shenanigans in play since the new ceo. We pay based on performance, they better not say that this year when goals eventually come out. Employees mattering is officially dead to the bank, bottom line and shareholders only and then lack of transparency.

Oh well, no severance and Pip still gets 6 months of unemployment. Plus bank “experience rating” for unemployment goes up!! Still costs bank a bundle!! Ha!!

@dy I heard a rumor that there was a plan to tell all remote employees to move to a hub and if they don’t, they will be considered voluntarily leaving so no severance would be paid. I’m hoping it’s not true but it’s unsettling.

I heard from a SVP in payments that layoffs are starting to get too expensive and the next tricks are sham performance reviews and changing pay scales for remote people. They want many many more gone and have recognized that too many are waiting for layoffs. Where is that scenario in the McKinsey playbook?

Similar here. On hold until executive management and hr, who have no clue on the day in and day out value these employees bring, downgrade performance ratings to hit their quota.

I'm not allowed to give out my reviews to my team because HR is holding it up with extra scrutiny, at least that's what I was told. I said this elsewhere, they are increasing the expectations, the accountability (which I guess is ok) but then not rewarding us with real comp increases. The beatings will continue until morale improves.
