Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

OSHA

Does any of y’all know f we can call osha over this situation? We work at a place where second amendment has made employees carry and where we don’t have an outlet to report things to tested leads. I have never seen it this bad and they have not fixed Montgomery from what a relative these tells me. What do y’all thing? Can I?

Where can I find out about my state (California)? I am scared of some of the workers I work and there is no good security at work. Anyone can get in, there is stealing, dr-gs, and there was something that happened some weeks ago and they are both still there staring at each other and talking bout how they gonna get jumped outside of work or have friends "roll up here" in the parking lot and then go. At my husband's work it is different and more safe and he works in a low paid place. Security here is a joke. The new security executive has been here and we haven't seen anything new except work on violence training that is all all talk. The part I want OSHA to understand is that the security executive is not someone we can trust or that knows what to do. I agree to just look at Montgomery. The posts are saying it is still not safe there. #scaredAndHopefullyNotToDeath

I called and there is a website where any of us can report it without names. They said what we are "having to endure does justify a violation and we should report it"/ That was her words. So I will do it when I get home.

That’s not a bad idea. I am going to check on Monday with our state osha and see if they look into that here and if not, I will ask who does. Thanks for the tip!
