@kx Offshoring to Mexico is indeed Central to the strategy document Ive seen, ramping up over next couple of years. Globally more than doubling, the number of offshore roles. Heard that Athina thinks we aren't being "bold" enough.

Don't worry the employee in Plano will be backfilled with someone else overseas soon enough. Probably Mexico it seems to be the favorite these days.

@dr it is up to us to put the boundaries. I just do not attend those crazy hour meeting.

This is the indianization to be a slave which Indra b.. brought to this organization.

Until there is refusal to do this, these indians think you are a slave.

The contracting firms are the worst, they basically own the company and are very hard to work with. Mine as well switch places and have the contractors as FTE.

Fingers crossed that I will be “forcibly” retired on Monday, but I do feel horrible for those who remain. I’ll be thankful that they still have a paycheck, but I hear people talking about 5:30 am, 6:00 am, 7:00 am, 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm meetings. No work life balance at all while counterparts in other countries refuse to take after hours calls because it interferes with family time. This model doesn’t work! Not when people from opposite time zones are on the same team and expected to work together. When will leadership learn to put together functional teams that actually work? Position us to be successful! We WANT to be successful! But we are being forced to work with teammates who refuse to work with us. Leadership, please listen! How can one employee in Plano, a contractor in Mexico, 2 employees in India and a manager in Poland actually form a functional team?
