Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Something big happening in 2026?

Only 10 job postings in US. All are exec level. No CE openings. Heard that all instructors at NCRU were let go.
So I read that as customer service is gone in 2026. My guess is no service contracts will be renewed and any service will be outsourced. Anyone heard is parts in Memphis is moving or closing?

The End is Near

NCR Atleos/ NCR Voyix 2 different companies. Plenty of CE roles open. They moved training from GA to Texas but didn't eliminate it actually increased the number of trainers... service contracts renewed. heavy on rumors very short on facts...

@pp Are you talking about Voyix or Atleos?

I know that there's currently a hiring freeze, at least to some degree, on the Voyix side. The current postings on Workday confirms as much.

Fake news? Just checked Workday Jobs Hub….plenty of CE jobs listed around the country. Jumped on indeed, same thing? So are these unsubstantiated rumors?

Both Atleos and Voyix can only survive with software, the hardware is already lost to competition, better options for much less money are everywhere, the retail environment is depleted to near nothing. On the banking side, branches are closing, and the number of ATMs at the remaining open branches are being reduced, they simply don’t need multiple walk up units anymore. Cash will remain, but it is becoming less and less used, deposits as well.
So if you really look at both companies, software is the only viable option, and they have both said that for years, the service side is costly, it will be less and less until they sell it off or contract it until it’s simply gone.

It looks like NCR is moving on and creating a new restaurant POS. So that means those who are experts on the old versions might be let go since no longer needed. Dev, QA, tech support, sales, and onsite.

Complete, indefinite freeze on US hiring is what I’ve heard. Only VP and sales positions can be hired in US
