Human Capital had a meeting yesterday and to say that it showed the firm is going nowhere. Over 10 years and none of the HC leadership has ever been any good but if we are trying to "Project 2030" what is this? SM has no direction, just all over the place and the new structure makes no sense to anyone. On the Zoom the usual suspects who kiss up everywhere they go were doing the fake cheering but behind the scenes everyone is like "what is this?"
We have a GP over wellbeing, when is the last time you saw something come from wellbeing?? There are like 4 GP's in talent, two "shared?" for the HR Managers, a GP for inclusion when I thought we got rid of DEI. Just, stupid. How is SM helping PP make decisions about plagues like DC when she can't make her own decisions? This place is going down fast, can't wait for the next VSP I am out of here before the whole place burns down.

HR has historically just been daycare for cat ladies. When you start letting them make actual decisions that affect the direction of the company, you're going to have a bad time.
@kj There are some actually good associates and leaders in HR, they are just buried under a layer of the most incompetent people you have ever met. Not one innovative thing has come from that group, they paid consultants to do the "reimagining", that says all you need to know.
They should flip a coin to see if SM stays or goes. Get practicing on coin flipping.
All HR has been good for is doing nothing and su-king up $$$. Last year they got rid of a GP because she was making preferential decisions on who to get rid of. She got “caught”. But in the end they rigged the process to make it appear as if it was fair. But in the end they just kept their incapable bunch.
@bx Well said. Also obvious most direct leaders don’t support senior leadership. Still too much bloat at the senior leader level.
Senior leader felt like there was an us vs them dynamic when compared to the direct leaders. Associates know that their direct leader’s have no say in these horrible decisions but senior leaders want to put the direct leaders in the line of fire. The survey results showed that associates had respectful and trusting relationships with the direct leaders but have no respect for senior leadership.
Dear Senior Leaders…respect is earned, not given. Your actions continue to illustrate that you are self serving liars. The amount of debt you are in terms of good will makes the US government feel good about their deficit.
@aq Bingo!
Dolores Umbridge only cares about two things: 1) protecting ELT and 2) controlling associates with her archaic ways of HR thinking.
The firm would greatly improve results, morale, retention and more with the loss of SM, KJ, LD, and it probably goes without saying, DC. They are the four-headed hydra for most of the wrong decisions and directions the firm has taken over the past three years. PP can't make an decision that hasn't been strongly influenced to save her life, so these cancers are a majority of what is steering the ship with the associate experience.
SM is an awful leader. She’s good at rubber stamping things and wearing her pricey pearl necklaces, but that’s about it.
