Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

@c2 where exactly are you that you have frontier for service?
this is at&t forum and as of date in district 6 we do not have any contractors messing with our fiber or copper except for pulling in cable!
we haven't finished placing all the fiber so we should be good for a few years then the layoffs will start in bargained for offices!

They should layoff anyone involved in approving the really sh---y AT&T TV and radio ads. I cringe every time I hear them …..so embarrassing

All operations outsourced , if AT&T people are still duplicating that work calling it monitoring, supporting, supervising, governance - whatever - they need to go, you are holding a role not needed ! That’s where we need to be making cuts !

We are very heavy in Engineering company wide. But we should be good a couple more years til the build is over!

Yeah they used a lot of contractors for installation initially. Heard records were really messed up. Usually the only time we saw a Frontier truck was after an installation and the contractor had knocked out a couple of homes. If they are actually getting that straightened out the field work should go down even more.

How much work is left for the Union folks? Live in Frontier territory and after fiber was placed, seeing one of their trucks is like seeing a Unicorn, even after inclement weather. Did see something strange a couple of weeks ago though. Entire neighborhood went down and went to talk to techs. Supposedly they were getting the records straight by taking everything down at the Xbox. (Had pulled all of the F2’s down. Happened around 10 pm and was back up the next morning. Assume it was some type of rehab.

12/15 list will be out in the Southeast for Union surplus's
