Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

How do I get severance?

I have sent in my paperwork. There is no phone number to call. Email to alumni@xerox.com goes unanswered.
Can anyone assist.

Alumni@xerox is an outsourced service. You should receive an email requiring you to respond with information in order to authenticate you. Once you provided the necessary information, the process can move forward. You will receive an e-mail with your case number, indicating that your signed release has been received and being processed. After that, how long you wait depends on the workload of the contracted service. In my case, I received my severance in 3-4 weeks. Your manager cannot help you with your case. Once the exit package was delivered, your manager's role ended. In many cases, your manager may also be impacted by the lay-off. Once separated, impacted employees are no longer a priority for the current SLT and very little resource is committed to provide support beyond minimum legal requirements. In my case (Feb 2024 action), the process time for my pension election was 4 months. Hope this helps. Best of luck to all impacted by this action.

Try contacting your manager. Unless they were also layed off, they may be able to assist.

Did you get the auto reply email from Alumni asking for your details to prove who you are? If not then check your spam. They will not respond unless you prove who are first.
