Why do the Works Council in BCN keep saying that everything is confidential? Of course they have the list of names to check possible irregularities. It's part of the report provided by the company. The law doesn't make any mention to a confidentiality clause. If you ask about yourself, they should provide the information. I want more transparency and information from them! Plus, I'm really really worried about the negotiations. Unlike the Madrid WC, they've never been able to negotiate much for us. Will they be able to get good conditions?

Any news from WCs?
Please, some updates.
AFAIK they're intentionally not asking about the list of names until they finish negotiations so that they can be impartial when talking to Oracle representatives.

@ns that is not my understanding of the communication…anyway we should know more in 20 days …
@nm The communication on Slack talks about two parallel but separate negotiations.
@m5 that is not correct , both WoC will represent people from both entities and the final conditions will be the same for all affected employees regardless of their entity.
@kj No, the are two EREs, one for Ibérica and one for OGS, and they will be negotiated separately
@ej can you please explain what is that unconstitunional criteria UGT is using? This place is anonymous and we should all be aware …
please remember that the ERE law in Spain allows individuals affected by the ERE to put a demand at the end of the process. Additionally, several here in Madrid are going to sue UGT because of the unconstitutional criteria they have claimed will guide their efforts to try to save people. Please remember UGT is nothing but the work council of PSOE, the most criminal political party in the story of Spain
The conditions are for Spain, forget about Barcelona Work Council

Exactly! The issue is that they don't want to provide the information and they always hide behind the confidentiality.
In a Spanish ERE by law (Art. 51 ET & RD 1483/2012), the company MUST provide the list of impacted employees to the workers’ representatives during the consultation period so they can review criteria, detect irregularities, and ensure there's no discrimination.
@be In Madrid, there's also the UGT side of the WC, which is much better than the BCN WC.
