Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Anyone else doing “time trials” right now?

Management supposedly just wants to see how long it takes employees to work a case, however, there are 35 (YES THIRTY-FIVE) different task codes to choose from, including lunch/breaks AND Other, in which a comment is required. Looks like every single minute of our day has to be accounted for. I am so done with this place! Not like we aren’t doing our work, just certain times of the month are busier than others but we always get our work done.

Is this being done in Corp Risk? If not, what group?

@OP Just went through this with my team’s tasks so they can determine how many people we should have.

Is this for a new productivity tracker by any chance? The comment about every minute needing to be accounted for sounded like it. If so, I know the trials done in groups moving to these were basically to level set on what is "standard" for each process.

Having previously managed in another area (absolutely no longer managing at all) that did similar trials right before a production measurement tool rolled out though, it was absolutely to figure out a standard to hold people accountable when they didn't meet it. Basically to avoid someone from milking time to look busy essentially. It su-ks, but wouldn't be shocked if something similar is happening. There is never a "we just want to see" logic behind anything like this.

Yes we had them done, it’s used to Determine how many cases you can do per day, now we are on a system of rate per day for the cases having to submit 5 a day, it’s very annoying
