Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Q1 layoffs

I hate hearing more rumors about layoffs. Does anybody know where this came from? Any chance it's true or am I just getting stressed over nothing?

To quote Lashier and most of the ELT: “…transformation will never end.”

We may not have 20-30% reductions like COP but we will continue to lay off next year. In fact the budget being set will require it to meet our goals.

New rating system this year, and my boss seemed a lot more invested in year end reviews than previous years. Maybe they're going to trim the low performers?

Hurray for turning into Exxon I guess.
