Thread regarding Mutual of America Life layoffs

One of the worst workplaces in every possible way

The toxic and emotionally abusive culture here starts at the very top and just trickles down. You basically have to unlearn everything you know about good business. It's like they have a playbook, and they're deliberately doing the exact opposite of every recognized best practice. It's demoralizing and makes doing good work impossible.

AI & Automation are hallmarks of successful recordkeepers. MOA announced the 'Digital Transformation' right before I retired from the firm.

The transition has flopped. There is more manual work from what i hear from the people left.

It's time to 'come to the realization' that in order to save job for existing employees, the one thing that could be done is to strike a definitive agreement one of these these tech leaders to transform the client facing & back office operations:

Potential Suitors

  1. Human Interest
  2. Guideline
  3. SaveDay
  4. Ubiquity Retirement + Savings
  5. 401k Easy
  6. ForUsAll
  7. Vestwell
  8. 401GO
  9. Share Builder 401k

By merging, future job losses could be minimized and the employees could get raises and clients could get the high class service they need & deserve,

Would MOA help or harm the company by merging ?

@OP Over the weekend past year, several posters on here have laid down a road map to success. However, Riche turns a blind eye and self promotes people and gives them a raise and promotion, even though they don’t deserve it. Riche is part of the old guard too. Him & Molarity are the last of the old guard.
