Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

What happened to this site?

Hey everyone, was just wondering what happened here. Before i was able to check this and get all the latest rumors. Lately, there are weeks with almost no topics and no new comments. Just heard a lot of big news this week and i am checking every day to see if someone will post something but nothing. Regarding the news, have confirm a lot of people were let go this week and there were talks i. nCR Voyix about having a 5 days office as mandatory from 2026, so that decision should have more people just quiting. Not sure at all where we are heading, both Voyix and Atleos.

When NCR moved the facilities around Atlanta to Midtown, they understood that it would increase the average daily commute time more than one hour per day. The company made a commitment to the employees that remote work was an option for those who needed it. We all knew that the CEO was lying. I'm glad to say that we just hired another former NCR employee to my team.

Thanksgiving at NCR is to celebrate and recognize that some how, some what, after all the continuous holiday layoffs and cuts, that you are still employed in November 2025. Everyone should be thankful.

To continue the 100+ year NCR tradition. Next month for Christmas, all employees will receive a gift. It's either you're still employed, or let go. Happy Holidays

I heard that both Atleos and Voyix had lay offs. From what i hear it is mostly people who were bot coming to the office and field support team (that is supporting europe).

It is the old story of you can only beat a horse so much until it just gives up, lays down and dies.
Most folks are just tired of the beatings.
Plus current events take a toll on everyone.

The mandatory 5 days in office as of Jan 1 is not talk, it is the policy as of 2026 and yes, the intent is to force resignations. I got out two weeks ago and everyone I know is agressively looking (Voyix). As per actual numbers last week, don't know (and may never know).

Seems like no news for a while, this is historically the week when the company lays off.

The holiday season is no longer what it was years ago, and really not much service on the retail side is left, Walmart which in reality Voyix probably loses money on.
