Rumor is that some of the folks in the stores that are being converted will call in sick on Black Friday. Anyone one hear about this?

They shouldn’t. If you think Verizon isn’t still looking for a reason to fire with cause prior to your final day, put down the pipe, and don’t risk your severance to send a message

who cares, worthless a-s retail employees that can’t even sell perks or protection. if they were laid off it was simply because they were a-s!
Frankly man ... who cares about the associates working in the stores? They can quit and go work at Home Goods, Marshall, Macy's, Target they're all hiring for the holidays season.
