There is a rumor that all of operations will be cut in half next year. Anyone hear anything solid?

It’s not just operations. I work in what I’ll refer to as client onboarding just to be a bit vague to avoid outing myself. They want to outsource my entire team to India or a vendor. So they are still following the McKinsey and Robin/Shannon show to eliminate the US workforce.
@k7 let me go cause the minute they do they're sc--wed. I already contacted my state rep and EEOC dept. Targeting anyone in a wfh status right down to denying promotions because of it is discrimination. They fu---d themselves royally
@OP Heard operations will be cut by AI and BOTS and all WFH staff will be let go before end of 2026.
@hy same here with Wroclaw
We’ve been actively training India for 10-15 years. Are they any better…. No! We’re just the su-kers that stick around and keep retraining their staff since the India managers don’t know what they’re doing but keep getting our promotions!
Yeah, this has been coming a long time. I overheard Ben Slavin talking about integrating AI in order to reduce workforce load.
@a9 which functions / areas?
Its not just ops they are reducing but havent heard the 2026 head count. 2025 was 2500 and last i heard they were at 2200 releases and because they are targeting people and making up stuff they are looking at one he-l of a lawsuit. Even my sr mgmt says its grounds and nobody should them get away with it
There is a plan to reduce to 15k by 2027
AI will replace them……
A-dditonal I-ndia that is….
It's in the works. We are actively training India on our job functions but---get this---we are sworn to secrecy and aren't to tell a soul LOL! Gee, I wonder why?
