@tf Can confirm. Less capital (cough cough employees) to partner with vendors as a system integrator rather than build stuff. CPO is read in and shopping for her external role but keeps her Feb bonus and RSUs. Any product/commercial work will get stripped out of segments like OH, RX, etc and put in Optum AI.
Patrick is a figurehead with no involvement in the business and Steve doesn't care about anything other than keeping UHC going, Optum in the toilet. New crew at the top from India/tech are out of touch.

I know of a RIF in Optum Health on 12/16. Going to be massive...
@jn Many OI products with negative IOI: disinvestment, team infighting, duplicative projects across OT/OH/RX/UHG, clustered array of competing vendor offerings and weak leadership. OI CEO is on a binge to cut under-performing OI products that need TLC. Lots of cuts before the end of Q4 and then in Q1.
Hunger games among OI CEO's direct reports and one step down. He came from Infosys and is actively turning Optum into Infosys along with the terrible culture.
He's working to squeeze out the CPO and her teams and replace with his bonehead Infosys buddies and other OT people. Optum AI is replacing everything in old OI
I'm not laid off yet... but I told my kids we are scaling back on all spending for the end of the year including the holidays. I expect my holiday bonus will be getting let go Dec 18.
We saw our team in Optum cut in every quarter this year including in the past few weeks. I've gone through multiple managers and second level managers who have been cut. I know they are planning to cut a lot more folks supporting any OI products. They want us off the books before bonus time.
We have an outside group text to check in with our team on days there are cuts to see who is still safe.
Does anyone who got cut this year have recommendations for remote healthcare companies that are actually hiring?
