I genuinely hope the first people to go are the VP Sales, especially in EMEA. They bring absolutely no value to the business. Most of them are completely useless in front of customers, add zero strategic insight, and actively damage relationships that teams on the ground have worked hard to build.

Their behaviour is consistently aggressive, arrogant, and disrespectful — not only towards customers but also towards their own employees. There is no leadership, no coaching, no accountability, just pressure, threats, and bad manners. They confuse shouting with leadership and intimidation with performance management.

Instead of enabling sales, they block deals, demotivate teams, and create a toxic environment where people are afraid to speak up. Customers notice it, partners complain about it, and employees are exhausted by it. The EMEA sales organisation would be significantly better off without this layer of management, which currently acts as a liability rather than an asset.

Legacy juniper should be very scared. Not enough pink slips to go around.
