In October the U.S. saw more layoffs in one month than any month in the last 20 years. Now another 13k, there are no companies hiring we are out of a job and right before the holidays and a massive Great Depression hits. This is so much worse than many think, there won’t be enough jobs out there for all of us. I just lost my insurance, I am fu---d
This is heartless and I was laid off on a fu--ing mistake. I was not bottom 5%, I was a top performer I did not deserve this at fu--ing all. This is bullsh-t. The CEO gets 20 million fu--ing dollars and lays us off before the holidays. Fu-k this company.

I am reminded of all the su-k ups and brown nosers I worked with who thought that by licking boots and keeping their nose up the Bosses Åss that somehow that made them “Safe” .. —putting their own lives on Hold and sacrificing for this company for years only to be shown the door. 🚪 Nobody remembers ( or cares ) if you were a “top performer”. Still leaves you at the unemployment line with those that only did the bare minimum. I hope those that remain are taking notes.
luckily they can hire some indians for pennies on the dollar to replace you, more money for the CEO and your USD is much more valuable in india than it is in the united states. everybody wins!
A lot of reported layoffs were for Govt employees (remember?) leaving in Sept or taking an early buy-out
Take it to HR or su-k it up and move on. That's life, and at times life su-ks. Ranting on a board won't replace your insurance. Take a few days, reassess, find that job.

Deep breath, kiddo. This too shall pass and you have some level of control over the outcome. Think about what you want for yourself and take control over as many baby steps as you can, most importantly, find some optimism. Believe in yourself, fu-k everyone else!
