Has anyone heard if the security teams will be affected, specifically those working under Mike Russo? Many of these teams are brand new teams build over the last year.

Rest assured mgt has scrutinized all groups and identified redundancies. No groups are safe, as we’ll all soon find out.

if the organization is new, then yeah because there's no metrics of the team and the teams might overlap with cyber defense and other established network security teams. i would be worried. network security always gets hits the hardest.
If I was in a def team with and AD and 2 direct reports, I'd be sweating it.
