Fiserv will come back from this. I believe Fiserv will declare bankruptcy and will be broken apart and sold off.

what would it mean for us if fiserv or clover was to be sold off. I work for Clover, Fiserv
Clover should be sold off.
@bd well said BD
In the US alone: the company processes 4 out of 10 point of sales and serves 4 out of 10 of banks somehow.
People are not the brightest on the layoffs dot com
If anything, there would be a leveraged buyout. No one has an incentive to buy the company. A competitor wouldn’t have the money, the legal approval, or the capacity to absorb 30% of the domestic banking market share. Parts may be sold off to realign the ecosystem (think the physical print like cards or statements) but it’s more likely the “banking” side and the merchant side split.
@ax You might have a present if the company isn't the only thing that matters to you
Damn why do people identify so much with the company here? It's a fu--ing layoff board...
If your immediate team su-ks? Then your team su-ks. If they are decent? Then try to enjoy it.
Otherwise? It's a 9-5. They never promised you more than that. Retirement at one company ended a long time ago and it's is how it has been in corporate companies for at least 4 decades now. There are a few people writing cobol who are lucky and possibly diligent and nobody knows what they do anyway but it's not the norm.
We are all obviously middle class if we work here and have the time to visit this site. So it's not that important.
Do good work learn what you can, be grateful for the small things in life, find some time to be alive and chill the fu-k out folks.
we have a bright future
I do believe you don’t know $h!t! Fiserv still makes money. It is too big to fail. I suggest you talk to someone for help rather than posting some ridiculous message to get attention to your otherwise lonely life
