Remote v. in office - safer?

Any chances that those who are in an office are safer than remote workers?

Seems like there is an RTO push, so maybe remote will get hit harder?

Doesn't matter. There were many that WFH for years prior to the pandemic. There are a number of reasons why people can be let go. You can be a top performer and be let go. It's all about the direction the company is going and getting rid of those who they deem as no longer needed.
