Any chances that those who are in an office are safer than remote workers?
Seems like there is an RTO push, so maybe remote will get hit harder?

@ad salary vs band? What does that mean?
@ad I am also in HR. We are looking at HR first, especially ignorant ones making d-mb statements
No one is safe. Just accept that reality and stop hoping for a carve out.😂
@ad meaning what exactly? last in, first out in a position ? or getting rid of long tenured ?
This is a whole different kind of thing, they are making major changes to the structure of the business.
Dan is a known backer of WFH. Look it up
@ad when you say years in position would you rather get someone out that’s been here longer?
@ad in what what are those factored? They want to rif people that have been in position longer?
I’m in hr, remote is not a factor. We are using salary vs band and years in current position.
Hate to say it but I guarantee people not near major hubs will be quicker to be RIF, they want the masses in offices.
Doesn't matter. There were many that WFH for years prior to the pandemic. There are a number of reasons why people can be let go. You can be a top performer and be let go. It's all about the direction the company is going and getting rid of those who they deem as no longer needed.
No. Does not matter.
