An example of T's decline

I used to work for T, but got laid off in 2019. No loss, I ended up in a better place with a non-profit organization.

My non-profit was using T as their mobile provider for staff phones - running between 120 and 150 lines depending on staff. The thing is, every time the IT dept needed to add/remove lines it was a major hassle with the last attempt a month ago where the T rep handling our account started upselling to more fancy phones and a higher-cost plan.

Let me repeat that. T was trying to upsell a forking non-profit organization into an unnecessary plan with unnecessary phones.

We're on Verizon now.

Chalk up another win for T!!!

You can get Spectrum Mobile for $15/month. Same great Verizon network but much lower price.

T-Mobile service sucked when I had them. Cheap rates sure, but nearly everywhere I went I rarely had any sort of cell or data signal. I switched to Verizon, and it was much better, but pricier obviously. Then, came to ATT and took advantage of the employee discount and the service is great everywhere I go. For me, it wasn’t worth keeping TMobile just because it was cheap when the service was cr-p.

But, if I get surplused, my discount will be gone and the cell phone bill with 3 iPhones and 2 Apple Watches is going to go through the roof.

It surprises me that T gives us a 50% discount and we can go to another provider and pay less. TMobile is a force that isn’t going away.

Oh, I failed to mention on the last post....
Switching to T-Mobile they will pay my $16.00 monthly payment for Netflix as long as I remain a customer. Additionally, they paid for my AAA membership for a year and, they gave me $200 per line that I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile....

Another win for T :-D

I left T in October. After 24 years (missed MR75 by 1 year) the ONLY benefit I had to look forward to was getting 1/2 price on data plan and phone accessories, so I decided to leave. I just switched over to T-Mobile and got free upgraded phones for my family and pay less per month than what I did with T using my employee discount. :-)
