Yeah, it's pretty sorry this year. I'll end up making several thousand less this year compared to last, but that was expected. Just wish I was in one of those job titles where the TSR is shifting upwards by many thousands though. That would be real nice.
Most would be happy with $100 - 200 for their annual bonus!
This cash bonus is for the peasants. The executive comp stock bonus for Directors and above is paid out at 150%. So if you were awarded 3K shares it gets paid out at 4500 shares. Oh and we also get the cash bonus starting at 19% for Director. Enjoy the peanuts.
If you are a good employee, it's not unreasonable to expect $5K per quarter as a bonus. It's just like Stankey and Santone to lowball the bonus for T employees. You would be appalled to learn what those two receive as an annual bonus!
My BIL works at Microsoft, a comparable position to mine at at&t. His bonus for 2022 is $24755. Mine? $13875. No doubt, at&t will sc--w it's employees at every turn. Then the bootlickers turn around and thank them for it!
Layoffs are part of org restructuring and cost reductions. Bonus is calculated not based on layoffs and it should have been bit more than last year! Also, worker-bee bonus % is much lower than industry average.
Mine came out to 14300. Not hateful, but my buddy over at IBM got 23K, and his bonus was average for his team.
That’s not exactly true.
Total compensation for the year includes bonuses paid for previous year. Deduct any ‘additional’ rewards - annual Success, Connection, SPOT, etc. from total compensation calculation.
Bonus is calculation only on salary amount only.
To calculate your exact bonus $ amount, you need a couple of other numbers:
A. Total compensation received in 2022 (found on 12/21/2022 pay statement) [ex 113,000]
B. Bonus payment received 3/6/2022 (will need to be subtracted from total 2022 compensation) [ex. 13,000]
- Annual Bonus % for your job title (i.e.11% annual bonus)
- Payout for 2022 is 103%
Calculate: ((A-B) * C) * 1.03
Or ((113,000 - 13,000) * .11) * 1.03 = 11,330
Bonus amount for this example would be $11,330
All you bi----s crying and meanwhile the real people doing the work at the bottom have their bonus tied to stock price that we have no control over, amd our annual bonus this year was 200 bucks.
Thankful it’s that much. I was really expecting a lot less.
Why are people asking about calculations? The number YOU will get is right there in amplify. And that number is Before taxes. Hello?
"We deserve a he-l of a lot more"
but do you really?
I am shocked it was 103% with all the layoffs coming I was for sure we were looking at 80% max.
Guys, please don't hate me, but can anyone explain again how it should be calculated? Let's use as an example of 100K even, what would that make a bonus? Approximately...
My bonus came out to roughly $15K. I figure $5K to unkie sam, I keep $10K. It will be absorbed into the woodwork very quickly!
It was 142% last year and the company did better this year. Pretty sorry if it is only 103%.
“ if people are off payroll on the rumored march 3rd, will they still get the bonus? “
Yes they do full 2022 bonus, and in 2024 a prorated bonus for the the time they worked in 2023(Jan to March 3rd.
It is never more than 150%

What a ripp off, I was thinking more like 178%. This company is always out to sc--w us employees.
"if people are off payroll on the rumored march 3rd, will they still get the bonus?"
yes
The math is your base pay for the year times 103% times whatever your payout percentage is 10, 11, 12. Then you can take out about 40% of that number for taxes that should get you pretty close to a showing in amplify.
Does anyone remember the Math for this?
“ if people are off payroll on the rumored march 3rd, will they still get the bonus? “
Not sure how many times this needs to get answered… but yes. It’s a 2022 bonus payout, which you’re entitled to if you worked in 2022. They will send your payout to you.
We deserve a he-l of a lot more. Talk about getting screwed. We was good all year long and we still got the shaft. Next thing you know they will try and sc--w us on the annual pay raise.
This company is so crooked….they’ll try hard to sc--w people out of their bonus. Hard to believe I worked at such a frickin evil place. HR is only there to sc--w you out of benefits
if people are off payroll on the rumored march 3rd, will they still get the bonus?
Nice numbers! AT&T is very generous. Will miss working for them.
They always post it the Friday after the earnings call. An email should be coming out by end of day. Same thing every year.
I'm also seeing 103%.
Is the bonus the same company-wide now, or does it differ across business units?
I also see that this was loaded into Amplify at "Jan 23, 2023 04:21PM" - so however this gets decided they've been sitting on it since Monday afternoon.
